To clear the OpenBSD console on logout, change the tty environment.
/etc/gettytab

    P|Pc|Pc console:\
            :np:sp#9600:

change to:

    P|Pc|Pc console:\
            :np:sp#9600:\
            :cl=\E[H\E[2J:
